SUMMARY:Death and Collage Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Come join us on February 21st from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM for a Death + Collage Cafe. This space will be a place to get curious about the topic of death and dying through community and artistic expression. We will start with a short guided creativity meditation\, followed by an open collage space\, and close with another meditation. Materials and tea will be provided\, but please feel free to bring any collage supplies. There will also be reflection phrases and prompts for collage inspiration and instruction. This offering will be co-guided by Mariko Tamegai and Priyanha Nadanasabesan. Mariko is an end of life doula\, Reiki Master and sound healer. Priyanha is a community death worker and artist with @colectiva_ammor_. This event is not a grief support group\, but instead an intentional place to begin exploring the inevitability of death through the creative process.
