SUMMARY:Grief and Collage Cafe
DESCRIPTION:Come join us on May 23rd from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM for a Grief and Collage Cafe. This space will be a place to process feeling of grief\, loss\, and fear of death through community and artistic expression. We will start with a guided creativity meditation\, followed by an open collage space\, and close with space for reflection and discussion. Materials and tea will be provided\, but please feel free to bring any collage supplies. There will also be reflection phrases and prompts for free-writing\, collage inspiration\, and instruction. This offering will be co-guided by Mariko Tamegai and Priyanha Nadanasabesan. Mariko is an end of life doula\, Reiki Master\, and sound healer. Priyanha is a community death doula and artist with @colectiva_ammor_. This event will take place at Grand Street Healing Project located at 105 Grand Street\, BK.
